Bangabandhu Safari Park in Gazipur Bangladesh

Bangabandhu Safari Park in Gazipur Districts under Mauna and Pirujalii Union at Sreepur Upazila.  The park is 3690 acres in size. It is still under construction. It is also a little African in Bangladesh.

About Bangabandhu Safari Park

It is a bio-diversity park open zoo. It is named after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahaman. He is the great leader of Bangladesh and the father of the nation. The park was open for people the recent years. It is on 31 Oct 2013.  The Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had opened it. Inside the safari park, a visitor can see tigers, Lions, elephants, birds, snakes, monkeys, Zebra, crocodiles, Deer, and more. The park is divided into many parts. They are Kore Safari, Safari Kingdom, Bangabandhu Safari, Natural History Museum, and Open Place. Tuesday is the holiday. The opening hour is 9 AM to 5 PM. The official website is www.safariparkgazipur.info.bd. There is a food facility inside the park. They are Tiger Restaurant or Lion Restaurant. Here food is costly.

How to Go

Buses are available from Mahakali, Dhaka. On Mymensingh highway, there is a spot in Bagher Bazar. It is 3 km west from there. The transportation fare is 50 to 80 taka from there. Local transportation is Human Haller. The traveller can go there by car.

Entry Fee

Tourists can visit the safari park by paying the prescribed fee. The fees charged by the government are as follows

2. Minor (below 12 years) :20/- per person
3. Student: 10/-
4. Foreign tourists: 1000/-
5. Children: Free

Opening and Closing Time:

Visiting Time: 10:00 am - 05:00 pm Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park will be open as usual on Tuesday 21-02-2023. Park Opening Days: 6 days of the week except Tuesday.

There is an AC bus transportation inside the Safari Park. It will take the visitor to visit the Tiger and Lion area. There is a charge for it. It is entirely safe and secure. It is one of the best tourist places in Bangladesh. Children can enjoy a lot inside the park.
