East West Medical College Hospital Turag Dhaka

East-West Medical College & Hospital is a private medical college in Bangladesh. It is located at Aichi Nagar, JBCS Saroni, Khairtak, Turag, Dhaka, Bangladesh, five kilometers away from Dhaka airport. The hospital has been established under the trustee board of ‘Alim Foundation’ offering Medical education, health services for Bangladeshi people. The college was founded in the name Late Abdul Alim Mia, a well-known philanthropist, was born in Nagarkanda, Faridpur in 1926.

Nick name is EWMCH. It was established in 1995 It is now one of the best medical colleges in Bangladesh. Founder is Janab Dr. Ragib Ali, a renowned philanthropist.

Bangladeshi students have to take part in admission test; the applicant must have Physics Chemistry and Biology in HSC level. Eligibility for admission will be determined as per rules laid by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) by merit score/position. Notice for admission of first-year class is advertised in the daily newspapers and official website. In every academic year, after published the HSC result, the college offers 1st year MBBS admission (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) course for admission. It is 5 years of study and one year internee. Candidates for admission are selected through admission test conducted by DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) Bangladesh.Student can download admission from their official website.
