Communication and Transportation
- By Bus: At first, you have to go to Bandarban from Dhaka. You may get into any bus either from Saidabad Bus station or Gabtoli bus station. Many other bus companies provide coaches direct to Bandarban such as Green line, Shohag Paribahan, and Silk line. The bus fare may vary based on the quality of bus (AC, non-AC) you choose. After that, you have to go the Ruma Bazar with a bus service named ‘Chander Gari’. Then you have to report to the Armi General Camp before starting the journey for the Keokaradong hill. In the middle, you can enjoy the beauty of Boga Lake as well.
- By Air: One can travel from Dhaka to Bandarban through air route. But it may cost very high. The travel service in aero route to Chittagong is provided by Bangladesh Biman, Best Air, United Airways, and GMG Airlines.
- By Train: There are a lot of trains that take passengers to Chittagong. Dhaka to Chittagong railway services includes Turna, Nishitha, Mahnagar, Godhuli, and Subarna etc.
The local tribal communities have arranged accommodation for the tourists in the region. You will find a lot of small but beautiful cottages with adequate facilities. The local tribes also serve the foods, and they are not that much expensive.
