The college was established in the year 1952 with a view to provide quality education to the female students and build and promote the girls’ education in Bangladesh. When the college was established it was not permitted for the female to go out and study. Admission

The college has Humanities, Science Studies, and Business Studies departments. The courses are offered according to the rules and regulations determined by the Bangladesh Education Board.
