Mawlana Bhashani University is a Science and Technology University ( মাওলানা ভাসানী বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়). It is located at Santosh in Tangail, Bangladesh. Nick name is MBSTU and well-known as Mawlana Bhashani University.
It is named after the great political leader of the country Mawlana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani. It was Established on October 12th, 1999.The university is totally financed the y government. It is affiliation edbu UGC (Bangladesh) and University of Saskatchewan. On an average, 700 students can enroll in the UG programs of the institution. The current world ranking of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University is 8578.There are around 80 teachers appointed. The university is still growing that includes building, halls and abiding more provisions for the students.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility
Every year, it publishes its admission notice for 4 year Honors and Engineering programs. They are about to take an admission test to finalize the admission that is usually taken as per units. There are A, B, C and D units respectively considering the academic faculty. Student should good result in HSC in science background.
Hostel and Accommodation for students
The MBSTU also has Halls of residences where their students stay comfortably. Altogether there are 5 halls that offer residential accommodation and non-residential attachments for the students as well. Each of the halls is managed by a single provost and superintendent as admin.
