  • Only Tourists can apply for tourist visas for tourism purposes.
  • Ex-Myanmar is not allowed to apply for a Tourist Visa.
  • The Passport must have at least six months validity.
  • Evidence of the trip:
    • A copy of the air ticket/ itinerary,
    • Hotel reservation or confirmation letter/travel itinerary from the tour operator must be attached.
    • Invitation letter or Trade License/ No objection certificate of working place
  • Tourist Visa is valid for (3) months from the date of issue.
  • The duration of stay in Myanmar is 28 days from the time of arrival. It is not extendable.
  • The Embassy of Myanmar in Dhaka has revised the Consular and Visa Fees and Duration of Stay which affects from 1st December 2016; Visa Fees are different for the different categories. The tourist category is TK 4600/-.
