North East Medical College Admission Procedure Sylhet

North East Medical College Sylhet is one of the renowned private medical colleges in Bangladesh. The college was established to provide quality medical education to the students and serve the mass people. The college is approved by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh government. It was established in the year 1998, and since then it is affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST). It has got recognition from Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) in the year 2000. It has been enlisted in the world directory of medical school by World Health Organization (WHO) in the year 2003.

Facilities Available for the Students: The college has a rich digital medical library. The library is enriched with textbooks, reference books, various foreign journals, etc. It has audio-visual material, database chart, computer, and internet facility. It has a pathology and anatomy museum for enriching the knowledge of the students. The seminar rooms and lecture theater is well furnished with microphone system, multimedia, and overhead projector.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

The MBBS admission takes place based on the rules and regulations of the government of Bangladesh. The students have to appear a selection test arranged by Directorate General of Health and Services.

The eligible candidates in the test have to apply to the principal of the college in the form prescribed by the college authority mentioning the merit position in the test. The selected candidates are notified through the college notice board.

The selected candidates have to go through a medical test held by the medical board of the college. The selection committee re-examines the report. The finally selected candidates must pay the corresponding fees within the admission closing date. No late admission will be allowed by the admission office, and the vacant position will be filled up by the candidates from the waiting list.

The international students have to apply through their foreign embassy with equivalent SSC and HSC certificates and mark-sheets. The documents have to be verified and attested by the foreign ministry.

Photocopy of admit card of the medical admission test Photocopy of certificate and mark-sheet of SSC and HSC or equivalent. Photocopy of Testimonials from both School and College Recent 3 copies of color photos and copy of pay order of TK. 1000 only.
