The short name is NDUB.  Father Benjamin Costa is the first Vice Chancellor of the University. The varsity has received official approval from  Bangladesh Government on 29 April 2013. About Notre Dame University

It is a private university. There is a long history of the varsity.  It is a missionary base educational institution. Saint Gregory was the first establishment as a boys school. College. The name Notre Dame was chosen in 1955. They had established Notre Dame College in 1949. After an extended period, they have formed this organization. College and University both are on the same campus. They offer graduate and undergraduate of level education. The university has different courses in different subjects. They are CSE, BBA, BA in Economics, Bachelor of Law, BA in English, MBA, and EMBA. The admission cost of tuition fees is also reasonable compared to others.
