British Council coordinates O-Level and A-Level education for the Bangladeshi students every year. It provides all kinds of supports to the students for these examinations.
Subjects for O-Level Examination
In O-Level the students have the freedom to choose a course of study according to their will. The students choose subjects according to their goals and plans for future education. There are two subject lists available for the Bangladeshi students to choose from. They are Cambridge Subject list and Edexcel IGCSE subject list. Subjects for A-Level Examination
The choice of subject in terms of A-Level examination depends on of availability in one’s country. There are more than 30 A-Level subjects and three list from which the Bangladeshi students can choose their desired subjects. There are Cambridge Subject List, Edexcel GCE A-Level Subject List, and Edexcel IAL Subject List.
Exam System of Both A-Level and O-Level Education
The students complete A-Level in two years. The first half of A-Level is taught in the first year which is called AS-Level. The second half is called A2-Level which the students have to complete in the second year. The grade is calculated by combining the two grades of both the years.
On the other hand, O-Level takes two years to complete the courses. The assessment of a student is conducted based on written, oral tests, practical exams and course works. In Bangladesh, are British Council conducts and coordinates the exams for both O-Level and A-Level. `
O A Level Exams Result Edexcel and Cambridge Dhaka
British Council provides quick and easy access to the exam results of the students. It publishes result in online and also informs the candidates about their result through the phone call or SMS. The authority publishes Exam result after six weeks of the completion of the examination.
For unexpected results in the exams, the students can claim for re-marking and also sit or improvement examinations.
