Patuakhali Science and Technology University (পটুয়াখালী বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is located in Patuakhali under Barisal Division. In short, it is known it is known as PSTU. Every year it offers admission for UG and PG students after HSC result.

It has started its journey on 26 February 2002. Previously it was known as Patuakhali Agricultural College. It had born as a private college in 1972. The college was nationalized on 1 February 1985. it is affiliated under Ministry of Agricultural together with BAU (Bangladesh Agricultural University). It is totally financed by Bangladesh Government. The campus occupies 72 acres of land including 37.00 acres agricultural research farm. They have a plan to open a Fisheries Faculty at Kuakata on 800 acres of land. Their Slogan is “Quality Higher Education is the way of change of misfortune”. And vision is “To build a Modern Technologically developed, Poverty and Hunger free Digital Bangladesh”.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

Those who have passed SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent exam, and total GPA 6.0 in SSC+HSC and GPA 2.5 in each of SSC and HSC without 4th Subject. Unit wise eligibility can be known from prospectus. Applicant need to apply through Teletalk SMS. Download the circular to know the details. Admit card Download: You should prepare a recent colour photograph (300*300 px) and less than 100 Kb and a signature (300*80 px) less than 80 Kb. Go to http://www.pstu.ac.bd/admission Give your PIN and Roll number. Upload photo and signature. You can now download admit card. Foreign students willing to get admitted in Bachelor Degree of PSTU in Agriculture /BBA /CSE /DVM /Fisheries /Disaster Management /Nutrition and Food Science /Animal Husbandry are requested to visit the url http://www.pstu.ac.bd for detail information.
