RAJUK Uttara Model College is located at Uttara, north part of Dhaka city. It is very near to House Building bus stop. It offers admission only class five to HSC level student. It is very famous for its SSC result. Nickname is RUMC. RUMC, DC, and NDC is the primary target for good students to get admission. The college motto is “Education for Humanization.”
The college was established in 1994 by RAJUK (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha) a wing of Bangladesh Government. Authority is Board of Governors, RAJUK Uttara Model College. It is a Co-educational institution. Now numbers of students are 4,893 and Medium of language is Bengali and English. It is under the national curriculum.
It was built on an area of about 4.5 acres. It is work under Board Dhaka Education Board. They operate two shift of schooling. There is also a dress code also. All students have the uniform. It has a big library also. At present principal is Brigadier General Md. Imamul Huda, psc. The School and College are well reputed in for it excellent result in JSC, SSC, and HSC. The students are known as Rajukians.
