Rajshahi Mohila Diploma Polytechnic Institute Bangladesh

Rajshahi Mohila Polytechnic Institute is one of the new polytechnic institutes in Bangladesh established in the year 2003. It is also known as RMPI. The institute started its journey with 150 students in the year 2005. It provides diploma engineering degree to the students. Its vision is to make students dreamy and visionary towards the utmost career opportunities. It focuses on reducing the gap between the theoretical and practical learning as practical knowledge is crucial to be a skilled engineer. As it is the only women polytechnic institute in the northern region of Bangladesh, the institute aims at women empowerment through preparing women for better career. It is a government polytechnic institute and operates under Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Departments and Subjects

The institute provides diploma engineering degree in four departments. The degree is comprised of eight semesters. The departments in Rajshahi Mohila Polytechnic Institute include architecture and interior design and technology, computer technology, electromedical and electronics technology. The courses are designed so that the students can comply with modern technological advancement.

Facilities Available for the Students

It has a library which is rich in variety of technology related books and journals. The institute has internet facility for the students. So that the students can get practical knowledge and understanding of the learning materials there are high tech labs with modern equipment.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

The admission procedure and eligibility requirements are determined by the Directorate of Technical Education Board. The students must have GPA 3.00 or 60% mark in SSC or equivalent examinations. The GPA must not be below 3.00 in general mathematics and higher mathematics to be eligible for admission test. To register for the admission test, the students must apply through the form available in the DTE website paying TK 200 to 16222 through Teletalk SMS service.
