Ahsanullah University is Science and Technology base varsity. The nickname of the University is AUST. It is private universities in Bangladesh. It is at Tejgaon Area in Dhaka city.

About Ahsanullah University

Dhaka Ahsania Mission funded the University. It started its journey from 1995 with the approval of Education Ministry of Bangladesh and University Grant Commission. The university was established according to private university act- 1992 which was later revised in the year 2010. The university has an active collaboration with many national and international educational institutions and educational bodies. At present, it is 1st among all the private universities in Bangladesh, 3rd in all universities of Bangladesh, 77th in Indian Subcontinent, and 7084th in the world. The University has its campus in Dhaka and has all kinds of modern facilities for the students. The students of the university have been contributing significantly to the development of the development of the nation.

Subjects and Departments

At present, there are nine departments and schools in this university. They are- Department of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Arts and Science, Textile Engineering, School of Business and Faculty of Education. Major subjects under the faculty of business include- Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, and Tourism and Hospitality Management. The university has a group of highly educated instructors and teachers who are committed to providing the best education to the students. The courses of the university run smoothly without any session jam. Hence, the students can complete their course within the just time.

Facilities Available for the Students

The university has an enormous library with thousands of books, journals, magazines, and research papers. The library has an excellent sitting arrangement and a noise free environment where the students can study without any kind of distraction. The classrooms of the university are very spacious and contain multimedia system. All the classrooms are air conditioned. It has prayer rooms for the students. The university has Alumni of Graduates. The varsity has Tuition award for general students, sibling, students of remote areas, Mukti Jodha, and distressed students. The university also offers various percentage of waivers based on the result obtained in the Semester Finals. The University holds regular seminars and publishes research papers with which the students can gain practical knowledge. It has laboratories that are equipped with all kinds of modern equipment.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility

• For BBA, the students of any discipline can apply for admission. The GPA must not be less than 2.5 in both SSC and HSC examination.

• The sum of GPA of both SSC and HSC examinations must be minimum 6.00.

• For admission in Engineering, the candidates must have Science Background with Math, Physics, and Chemistry. The minimum required GPA in HSC is 3.5. The combined GPA of both HSC and SSC has to be at least 8.00.
