It is 23 kilometres north-west of the town Choumuhani and 2 kilometres east of Chatkhil of the Noakhal district. The spot is 138 kilometres away from Dhaka and may take up to 3 hours and 9 minutes by bus through the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. You can also visit the spot by train. A train named Upaku Express leaves Dhaka for Noakhali from Kamalapur Railway Station. In this case, you will have to get down in Chowmuhani station of Noakhali.
You may visit Nijhum Dweep in the Hatia Upazila of Noakhali. You may also visit Bazra Shahi Mosque and Queen Luther's Catholic Church.
