Ministry of Education runs Bangladesh education system. They are the supreme authority for all the activities.
About Bangladesh Education
It has divided into five levels. They are Primary, Junior, Secondary, Higher Secondary and Tertiary Level. They receive strong financial support from the government. Another way, it has divided into three levels.They are General Education System, Madrasah Education System, Technical – Vocational Education System. Bengali and English are both languages allow for education. British base A-Level and -Level education system are here also.
Near about 6-7 lac students every year appear in public exam for admission or yearly examination test. And in digital Bangladesh, most of the educational procedure is done by online technology. A student can apply online for their admission, can get admit card using online, can get their result also from the internet.
It is class 1 to 5. Popularly known as PSC. In this level, students get free books. Every year, Ministry of Primary and Mass Education conduct a public examination in month of November or December and PSC result also publish at the end of December.
Junior and Secondary (School)
It is class 6 to 8. Popularly known as JSC. In this level, students get free books. Every year, Bangladesh Education Board conducts a public examination in month of November or December. Board publishes the result at the end of December. And class 9 to 10 is known as secondary level. Popularly known as SSC. It is a most important examination for a student life in Bangladesh. BD govt. going to introduce new online school admission system.
Higher Secondary (College)
Class 11 and 12 is college level education. SSC passed students can enroll in this level. It is 2 years course. HSC is the short name. Education Board conducts a public examination under ministry of education. Normally exams are held in within February to April.
All medical colleges are under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MHFW), and are associated with a university on the own region. Medical course is known as MBBS. There is a dental part. It is known as BDS. Total 89 recognized medical colleges in Bangladesh, 29 of which are public and 54 private, there are six medical colleges which are run by the Bangladesh Army.
There are 36 public and 79 private universities and 3 international universities in Bangladesh. After higher secondary education, students enroll themselves 4-5 years undergraduate university education. This is also known as higher education. MSc, MA, Phd are also within higher education.
Cadet College is also important in education policy. Military discipline is compulsory here. At present there are 12 cadet colleges in Bangladesh, including 3 for girls. From class 7 t12 means higher secondary education is there.
Technical Education System means Diploma-in-Engineering degree is another education system. After passing 10 classes, any student can take admission in here. In every district, there is Polytechnic Institute.
In education system there are many examinations are going on every year. Most of the results are now publish in their official website.
Public and private education institutions receive admission application via online registration. Admit card, money receives, seat plan every thing, and they manage by own website.
The auothrity publishes examination routine online. The authority publishes the exam routine and time schedule on their official website regularly. Students can get their exam time table from authorize website.
