About Dhaka Commerce College
Dhaka Commerce College was established in the year 1989. It is the first college in Bangladesh which specializes in Business Education. Since the establishment, the College has played a vital role in the education sector of Bangladesh. The performance of the students in the board examinations is very sound. It is self-financed college. It is free from all kinds of politics and illegal activities and smoking.
Subjects and Departments
The college provides education from Higher Secondary Level to Post graduation level. It has ten departments. The honors level subjects include English, Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, and Statistics. The college operates under the affiliation of National University for providing graduation level education.
Facilities Available for the Students
The college has a massive library with thousands of books, magazines and journals for the students of both HSC and Graduation level. There is also hostel facility for the students but only the students coming from distant places or out of Dhaka are given the opportunity to admit in the college. The college has standard rooms for male and female students. For lunch, the college has a canteen which provides good quality and healthful foods for the students.
Admission Procedure and Eligibility
For admitting the HSC level students, the college follows the rules and regulation of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
The students apply for admission through a circular after the publication of the result of SSC examination. The admission requirement regarding GPA is usually very high. it is one of the best colleges in Bangladesh.
The College provides Graduation level education under the affiliation of the National University of Bangladesh. The students have to sit for an admission test for admission in the college. The total course fee for BBA and MBA is 1, 00,000 and 1, 20,000 respectively.
