Keraniganj Passport Office

Jatrabari regional passport office has transferred to south Keraniganj in Jhilmil project. It is a new building. Mainly citizen of Jatrabari, Dohar. Khilgaon, Sabujbagh, Demra, Kadomtoli, Kotwali, Gandaria, Shutrapur, Nawabganj, Keraniganj, and Shampur area are getting support for issue new passport or for renewal.

In Dhaka, there are another two regional passport offices. They are at Agargaon and Uttara. These offices issue International passports to the Bangladesh nationals. There are 62 regional offices in Bangladesh.

How to Go

Postogola is the main hub to go Keraniganj Passport Office. The client has to cross Buriganga Bridge by CNG auto rickshaw. It may take Tk10.00. From there, it may take anotheTk20-TK30.00 to reach Passport Office.

Fees

For normal passport, the authority charge TK3450.00 and for the emergency passport, they charge TK6900.00. The money has to deposit to the scheduled banks. The banks are Sonali Bank, Trust Bank, One Bank, Premier Bank, Dhaka Bank, and others.
