About Padma Bridge
It will be the biggest bridge in Bangladesh. The length of the bridge will be 6,150 meters. Its width will be 18.10 meters. Padma Bridge will have roads for both motor vehicles and railway. The entire work has been divided into two parts. They are- the main bridge and river work. Sinohydro Corporation Limited, China will conduct the water treatment work. On the other hand, China Major Bridge Engineering Co. will conduct the construction of the main bridge. JICA, ADB, and WB will finance the construction of the bridge. Moreover, It may cost USD $3 billion to construct the bridge.

The bridge is 74.5 km away from the Shahjalal International Airport. Therefore, you will need 5 hours to reach the site. From Saidabad station, the distance is 55 km. It will take 4 hours to reach the site from Saidabad station. The site is 70 km away from Gabtoli bus terminal. Hence, it may take about 5 hours to reach the site.
