Narail District Information
Narail (নড়াইল) is a district under Khulna Division. It is in the south-western part of Bangladesh. Artist Sultan house is the main tourist spot in Narail.
Narail district was established on 1 March 1984. It is one of the smallest districts in Bangladesh. It consists of 2 municipalities, 18 wards, 43 Mahallas, 3 Upazilas. Narail sweetmeats made from milk are very famous. The town was named after a feudal lord. Great artist MA Sultan and Uday Shankar are from this district. The official web portal is narail.gov.bd.
