Dhaka City College is one of the reputed colleges in Bangladesh. The college is at Dhanmondi in Dhaka. The nickname of the college is DCC. It is very familiar to the commerce students.
About Dhaka City College
The college was established in the year 1957. Most of them are educationalists and social workers. The college has its premises in Dhaka. In the beginning, the colleges started its operation in the West End High School and after that, it moved its operation at Dhaka College. The college started functioning on its premises, the Dhanmondi campus in the year 1970. Since its establishment, the college has gained immense popularity, and it ranks top in all the Board exams.
Departments and Subjects
The college provides both intermediate and HSC and Graduation level education to the students. The departments of the college include-Marketing, Finance, and Banking, Accounting, Management, English, BBA, Economics, Science Discipline, Arts Discipline, Computer Science, and Engineering. The college operates graduation level education under National University. The college provides all the majors for the HSC level and works under the supervision of Bangladesh Education Board.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility
The college admits HSC level students every year. The college sets a minimum grade for the students who can get admitted to the college. The students must have GPA-5 in SSC exam result to be able to attend the admission test. The candidates are admitted according to their rank in the admission test.
The graduation level students are admitted based on their result of SSC and HSC. The admission test is conducted according to the regulations determined by National University. The students have to sit for an MCQ test.
