About Hajj Umrah

Hajj is obligatory to observe by every Muslim who has to capability to go to and return from Mecca after fulfilling all the family needs. It is not compulsory for Muslims who are poor and do not have the ability to go the Mecca. Hajj is a must or Faraz for all capable Muslims to observe at least once in their lifetime. It is an intricate ritual in Islam. On the other hand, Umra Hajj is similar to Hajj. If anyone goes to Mecca and observes all the functions of Hajj before the day of Arafah, it is considered Umra Hajj. It can be performed at any time of the year.

The best time to perform Umrah Hajj is the month of Ramadan as in this month the reward for any good deed is 70 times than before. So there is the opportunity to go close to Allah by performing Umrah Hajj in the month of Ramadan. Besides these, a person can participate in the Taraweeh Salah arranged in Mecca where millions of people participate at the same time.

Benefits of Hajj and Umrah Hajj

There are many benefits of performing Hajj and Umra. Some of the advantages of performing them are as follows:

  • For those who go for Hajj only to satisfy Allah, all of their sins either small or big are forgiven except the sins that are related to harming the interest of others such as hurting someone and not paying the creditors’ claim. In such cases, the sin will be forgiven, if you ask for mercy from that particular person.
  • Allah says “The day when the Hajjis return to their home or country they are like newborn babies”.
  • In another Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Those who observe Hajj by spending money to satisfy Allah, Allah will make them well-off that they will never fall in poverty and hence keep doing Hajj over and over.”
  • There are many other benefits of Hajj and Umrah Hajj. That can be found in the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad and the Quran.
