Jessore University of Science and Technology (যশোর বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) was established on January 25th, 2007. It is also known as JUST. It is located at Chaugachha in Jessore Sadar, Bangladesh. It is completely financed by the government. With an area of around 35 acres, the university is famous for offering degree programs in Science and Engineering disciplines. It is the fourth public university in Bangladesh and the first in Jessore. It is about twelve km from Jessore city center (Daratana).

Admission Procedure and Eligibility
Jessore University of Science & Technology – JUST
They offer admission for undergraduate, graduate and PhD levels. Admission notices, forms, and prospectuses are published on the official website after HSC results, typically through an online application portal. Interested foreign students can contact the admission office (admission@just.edu.bd) with an approved application form and all academic qualifications before the deadline.
Estimated living cost for foreign students: $150 to $300 per month (approx.), depending on lifestyle.
There are approximately 610 seats available for undergraduate admission. Admission is conducted under units A, B, C, D and E.

Students Hostels and Accommodation
Shahid Moshiur Rahman Hall
This five-storied building has a capacity of 500 students. This hall is equipped with modern amenities including TV room, reading room, gymnasium, canteen, and facilities for photocopying, printing, and laundering. The hall is administered by a Provost. Students often organize game competitions for refreshment and to enhance co-curricular activities.
Sheikh Hasina Hall
This is also a five-storied building exclusively for women students, accommodating 500 students. It offers similar amenities: TV room, reading room, gymnasium, canteen, laundering and printing services. Students organize indoor and outdoor sports competitions to promote co-curricular activities.
Scholarship and Financial Assistance
UGC (University Grants Commission) and other organizations offer financial aid based on merit and for financially challenged students. Many private banks in Bangladesh provide stipends to meritorious students depending on their financial condition. Students are regularly notified about the latest scholarship opportunities.
