Jhenaidah Polytechnic Institute is only Govt. Polytechnic Institute in Jhenaidah. Nick name is JHPI. It was established in 2002 with 45 students and only three teachers. It is the only one mid level Engineering Institution in Jhenidah. The Institute now offers courses in four technologies. The academic program of JHPI operates under the regulation of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board. It provides 4 years Diploma in Engineering Course under the (BTEB) as maintaining International Standard.
