It provides diploma engineering courses to the students. The courses are offered in different technologies. Kurigram Polytechnic Institute provides engineering and diploma degree to the students in various subjects. The courses are conducted by highly qualified and skilled instructors in the field. The institute ensures practical knowledge along with what is written in the books. Hence, the teachers take a lot of practical class in the labs of the institute. Admission Procedure and Eligibility

The admission takes place according to the rules and regulations determined by the Directorate of Technical Education. As per rule the students having GPA 3.00 in the SSC or Equivalent examinations can apply for admission.
The candidates having GPA below 3.00 in both general math and higher math can’t apply for admission.
The students can apply through the website of the DTE by paying a fee of TK. 200 through the Teletalk SMS service to number 16222.
The students must bring admit card and the original registration card of SSC at the time of admission test.
