Rajshahi Engineering Technology University RUET

Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (রাজশাহী প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়) is located at Kazla in Rajshahi city. Formerly is known as Rajshahi BIT. It is famous for engineering education. Students are enrolled in Undergraduate and Postgraduate admission after achieving the right result.

Nick name is RUET. It is the second oldest engineering university in Bangladesh. It was founded in 1964. This varsity has a name for having an excellent relationship between students and teachers. It is a public university, financed by Bangladesh government. It has medical center inside the campus to provide indoor care for students and educators. The motto is “Heavens Light is Our Guide”.

Undergraduate Admission Procedure

RUET offers a combined entrance test for all the departments. Students have to fulfill university requirements. The Admission Committee sets the requirements. The exam will hold after the result of H.S.C.

Student hostels are important features in campus life. There are six residential buildings. The Ladies Hall is here. There are accommodations facilities of visitors also.

Campus Location and Contact Address Details

It is situated on the north side of Rajshahi-Natore-Dhaka highway road at Kazla, 5 kilometers east of Rajshahi town. It has 152 acres of land. It has a green campus with large varieties of trees. The Padma River crosses by the side of RUTE. There are a Bus and a Railway facility for the students.
